I was dibed the PM shift content manager. Apparently PM means rolling into work around 10am and stay till about 3am. My normal day consisted of waking up, walking to Starbucks, then walk to the event site, releave the live broadcast director for a couple heats, head into the the post trailer, work on next days rundaown, edit a story, gather footage requests, bumper a shit ton of videos, upload, email, walk home, got to be. Repeat 8 times.

 

Even though it was draining it was one of the best events. The production team killed it and the waves came up for finals. It was fun.

 

Here is a short I cut about Kelly Slater for the morning show that was broadcast all over the world along with the final day highlights cut but none other than the talented Drew Little.
