For those of you who don’t know, most video graphics and design is composed in After Effects. It is pretty much photoshop with a timeline. I found this little video that a guy made for his family. He used After Effects to create a image. This is how he did it . . .

This is pretty cool. Stoked the boys on the North Shore helped this blind surfer from Brazil get some waves at pipe.

So I have been on the downward path of lazy blogging lately. It started off because I was too busy, then moved onto the I forgot about it phase then went back into the too busy phase. Luckily I never hit the I don’t care phase so thats good. I promise to try and stay on top of it a little better now.

2012 marked the 3rd year I have helped Volcom out with there biggest surfing event, the Volcom Pipe Pro. This year they asked me to put together a video (in addition to being Associate Producer for the Live Broadcast) to play before the finals that hyped up the trophy, a replica greek warrior helmet. So with the help of Matt Shuster and Drew Little I produced this little clip that ended up playing on Fuel TV and Time Warners Surf Channel.

About a month or so ago I took a little trip on over to a little place called the Big Island. Its called that cause its a big island. Actually, its the biggest Hawaiian island, go figure.
