As of recent I have had logged about a 1,000 miles driving, flown on 4 airplanes, rented 2 cars, been on a bus a truck a skateboard a snowboard, had 3 continental breakfasts, spent $64.82 on coffee, shot over 300 GB of HD footage, broken or lost 2 GOPRO’s and found a new love for shooting. I wonder what I’ll do next week.
Nike has giving me the opportunity to not only rock some sweet new shoes but to follow and help produce there Chosen Bus tour. We have been roaming around the West Cost hanging out with groms and the legends that guide them. Its really humbling to see how far the sports that have influenced almost ever ounce of who I am have come. The size of Action Sports Camps like Windells Snowboard Camp and Woodward Skate and BMX Camp is absolutely stunning. When I was sleeping in High School statistics class I was dreaming of fictional places just like these camps.

On the way to Windells Camp we made sure to check out Widmers Brewery in Portland

Some samplers was a great way to arrive in Portland.

Shooting at Timberline on Mt. Hood

Got a strange complement that I reminded someone of Hemingway. I dont see it.

Geared up for shooting at Woodward West.

Picture of my computer screen. Massive BMX jump.

Backyard backflip. This sessions was nuts.

The angles and lighting was perfect for the BMX session.

Mini ramp in the not so mini hanger.

Nice blunt in the hanger.

View of the mini ramp from the Art Park.

Hard flip in the Hanger with the morning skate crew.

Sunset wheelie to end a epic day at Woodward.
We also spent some time from my old stomping grounds in Santa Cruz following around a crew of skaters from The Santa Cruz Boardroom. They took us to some hidden pools around town including the once extinct and legendary Buena Vista Pool. The guys were ripping and throwing down. They helped get me stoked on skating more transition and to stop being such a pussy. Next tricks for me? Footplant and back tail to revert.
After hanging with the skate crew we went for a surf with Nat Young and his two buddies, Kyle Boothman and Matt Myers. We went for a hightide session at a lesser known wave which I wont name (if you live there you know). We ended up setting up in a small seawall that was in a steep cove. Hightide peaked and we got splashed and somewhat trapped. It was alright though because Drew Little who was helping me with the shoot went on a tall boy run, thank God for supplies.

Flight up north.

Arrival at SJC.

Sweet talked the rental agent and got a sweet upgrade.

Skate crew skitching on the rental

10 year old skater Marly and I had a job swap for a little.

Drew Little was helping out on the shoot and had to get a little cruse in.

Time lapse from the sea cave.

Santa Cruz sunsets are pretty hesh.
Anyways I have been stoked. I hope you have been too!
